"THE DETAILS ARE NOT THE DETAILS. THEY MAKE THE DESIGN." — CHARLES EAMES |
Happy Wednesday, m' dears! Today's shaping up to be a rather busy one, so I'll leave most of the rambling for tomorrow's post. Max begins preschool in two weeks and we're trying to soak up as much Summer as possible. Impromptu Monday night water balloon fight, anyone?! On top of that, my parents visited Delaware this past weekend and it was a treat to catch up with them, as they haven't been to our house in over three months. That's got to be a record since we moved East! Ha Ha! I was most proud to show my mom that our plants weren't dead yet—proof all of the stuff she's been teaching me has paid off. While today's post doesn't look all that different from others in this "series," I find a lot of comfort in knowing that with all the change that's coming our way, there will most likely be more bright blooms, robots made from Unifix cubes, watercolor C-17s, and a flight suit our little one has outgrown in the future. There's just something reassuring about a Saturday steak night followed by a Stroopwafel McFlurry.
What delightful details have brought you happiness lately? I'm dying to know.
