What's up with all the rain, Swell Rio? A trusty Breton and Ban.do instantly add a little panache to the dreariest of days. That's a fact. |

The Captain always has time for a photo op—even when he's tinkering around with his fishing boat. |

A moment with this book is like a coffee date with an old friend. It's a surefire way to get the creative juices flowing. |

"I'm in the middle of a project that needs tweaking." This Joe Fox quote from You've Got Mail is how I feel about my fringed creation for Max's nursery. |

Beesly is having a love affair with the new rug in the nursery. It's kind of her favorite place. Ever. |

A glimpse at the gallery wall in Max's room. It's all starting to come together. |

When I started to hang items in the nursery, it was clear we were missing a pop of color, especially something with an abstract touch. Hello, Emily Rickard! |

I snapped this pic the day we met our doctor. It seemed monumental! Now we get to sit and wait for our little guy to arrive... |

This vintage letter A had me swooning BIG time. I wish I had a place for it in the house. Narcissistic? Nope, not at all. |
Happy Monday, m' dears! Today's post is going to be short and sweet. I think I'll let let the snap-happy images do all of the talking while I continue to nest. I mean, I think that's what they call it... I just know the crazy train arrived promptly in Swell Rio on Saturday morning, and I hopped on with excitement (Flyboy had no choice). We spent most of the weekend organizing every crevice of the house—no closet or cupboard was spared. And when I realized there weren't enough drawers to fulfill my Type-A needs, we made multiple trips to Home Depot for additional storage. As you can imagine, Flyboy was pretty ready for the work week to commence.
Clearly things got wild and crazy up in here, but that's what happens when you play with each other's drawers. No, not like that, silly. Get your mind out of the gutter. I just wanted to make sure you were still awake after reading this enthralling post. Enough about me. This has officially become awkward. How was your weekend? I'm just dying to know. I guarantee it was more eventful than ours.
