Happy Monday, dear friends! I hope you had a wonderful weekend. Did you do anything exciting? We relaxed on Sunday and went to the beach. I even snagged an old-fashioned donut from Starbucks. In honor of sugary carbs, sand, and sun, I think I'll cue the Hallelujah chorus. I am SO ready to take on the week. In fact, this Monday is shaping up to be much better than the last. I love a fresh start, don't you?

Thank you all for your support regarding Beesly. She's doing great, but she's requested that I don't share any humiliating photos of her sporting the dreaded cone. She usually shines in front of the camera, but lately she's shied away from the lens. At one point this week, she was taking 12 pills a day. Because she's so stubborn, she refused to take her medication. We were frustrated; I wanted to cry! After trying peanut butter, hot dogs, ice cream, and cheese, we had no choice but to force the pills down her throat. It's awful, but I think we've got it down to a science. I can't wait until the pills are finished, the stitches are removed, and the cone can be retired. I think Beez would agree.

Since Flyboy is headed out again this week, I've opted to keep today's post simple so we can spend some quality time together. I hope you enjoy some of my latest Instagram photos; they're details that make life so much sweeter!
