Weeks before visiting my parents, I was reading
MIMI + MEG and stumbled upon
Trohv -- a cute little shop in the Takoma Park Historic District of D.C. It looked like just the kind of store my mom, my sister, and I would enjoy. A trip to to Trohv would be a must-see activity on our holiday itinerary!
As its name promises, we were delighted by the numerous knick knacks and tchochkes. We ended up visiting the shop twice, because once in 20 days just wasn't enough. Ha ha! We came away with a few shopping bags and ginormous giddy grins. When this threesome gets together for a day of shopping, you can be sure to expect the excessive use of "cute" -- and that's not because we can't come up with some fancier descriptor. It's just mother-daughter speak, and it's completely appropriate in instances like these. So prepare yourself for the following photos from Trohv. I dare you not to say cute at least once.

A-dorable storefront and window display. |

There wasn't one thing that I didn't absolutely LOVE! This is my kind of store. |
 |
Trohv: You had me at hello, with your pops of clover green and precious signage. |
 |
Baskets of cuteness. Everywhere. |
 |
Love the assortment of whimsical art and vintage finds. |
 |
This shop was even BETTER (dare I say it) than Anthropologie when it comes to decor ideas and repurposing items creatively. |
 |
Heaven. |
 |
I'll take one of each, please. |

Note: If I could find a way to take that humongous shopping cart home with me, I would! |
If you're ever in the Washington D.C. or Baltimore area, you MUST visit one of
Trohv's two stores. You won't be disappointed. There's something unique for every personality and interest. You can also visit their online shop, but it just doesn't quite do it justice. A trip to Trohv is a treasure in itself and an experience you won't forget!
Hope you have a lovely Tuesday!
Toodles,
ANF
