To say I'm excited about The New Girl on Fox would be an understatement. Finally a show that embraces the awkwardly endearing and delightful personalities out there! I'm talking about Zooey Deschanel's character, Jess, not me (wink, wink). For about six months, I've made Flyboy stop every time I saw a commercial for the show. Yes, I laughed at the same clips -- as though it was the first time I'd seen it. I may have even snorted. I also found myself sitting on the couch playing with my imaginary spectacles, attempting to make a "waaa waaa waaa" sound. If you've seen the commercials, you know what scene I'm talking about. Don't judge, just set your DVR to record this fall TV gem.
