Food Frenzy

The visitors arrive on Saturday, which means we're getting closer to a week of relaxation, making memories, revisiting island tourist traps, and eating more than we probably should! While we'll probably chow down on some island grinds, it might not hurt to plan on a few home cooked meals.
After foraging Foodgawker, here are some of my fave fare finds.
Ian Knauer's Sticky Balsamic Ribs
Gorgonzola Buttermilk Steak Sandwiches
Grilled Zucchini Tacos
Tomato & Mascarpone Pasta
Ivy Chopped Salad
Baked Zucchini Fries
Grilled Corn Guacamole
Nectarine Basil Salsa
Chewy No-Bake Cookies 'n Cream Bars
Salted Caramel & Vanilla Baked Cheesecake
Sugar Cookie Bars
Despite all of these drool worthy goodies, I still haven't decided exactly what I'm going to cook. Don't judge, I'm getting groceries on Friday! What are some of your go-to recipes when you have visitors?

Dear Colleen Tea Towel

Have a wonderful day!

  5. Thanks, ladies! I would love the company, so yes, I would most definitely try cooking whatever you'd like:) I can't promise it would turn out as pretty as the images on the blog, but it's worth a shot!

Camila, the Lemon Meringue Ice Cream Pie sounds delish! I've bookmarked the recipe and sent it to my mom. I can't wait to give it a try. Thank you for sharing:)
