Prim & Polished: My Essie Addiction

Growing up, my mom always ensured my sister and I had painted toes. If she discovered we were sporting shoddy digits, she'd get out the bucket of polish and hand us a bottle of remover and cotton balls. Once I moved out of the house, I realized I didn't have anyone to remind me to keep the old phalanges prim and polished. As a result, I've become an addict. 

Here are my five favorite essie shades:  
jag-u-are
I'm currently sporting this patriotic polish.

pink parka
While the photo doesn't do it justice, it's an obnoxious 80's-esque Barbie pink. It's my default polish.

ballet slippers
Perfection in a bottle.

cute as a button
No, you are!

clambake
Makes me dream of a summer in New England!
This one's for you, mom!
What's your favorite shade? 

After I was introduced to essie, I don't think any other polish exists. 
If you've not yet tried the brand, get your fanny to your nearest Target or Ulta.
Give it a shot, I know you'll love it!

    Just bought my first Essie shade, Secret Story. It's on tap the next time I do my toes. :) I loves me some O.P.I., but wanted to give Essie a try.

    Haha, I do love O.P.I., too! I've found that essie stays one for a long time, which I like:) Let me know how you like the shade!! I'm always eager to try a new one.
